How does the Hooky Baritone Pro compare to our other baritones?
With such a great selection of extended range instruments, it might be hard to make the choice that's best for you. In this video, Ellen compares the sound of the Hooky Baritone Pro with our popular Sidejack Baritone.

Get her on the production line
His phrasing is superb. How he hesitates immaculate.
Excelent
Andy Taylor from Duran Duran also used one
That is a dream axe.
What a cool job!
🥰
Yeah sure...now, about that green burst Rivolta Mondata prototype in the background...
Ha, good eye! 👀Stay tuned!
Each additional adjustments should never be overlooked They really do matter
Complete wrong order of operations. Intonation is the last step. 1st step is check neck for straightness. Then check action height and nut slot depth. Next, adjust pickup height. Lastly adjust intonation if necessary. The each of the first 4 steps will directly affect the intonation of the guitar, thus intonation adjustment is always done last.
Thank you. Please feel free to apply for any future job openings on the careers section of our website😉
Set intonation last
Ooh perty fiddle
The get fiddle
Good hard working kid. Keep up the good work! 😂
When you file a nut slot, don’t go back and forth. Pull it to you only each time single passes and check every three filings.
Why are you checking scale length 😂😂. Are you going to adjust that??
Yes, that’s what the saddle adjustment (intonation) does.
@@Mrmustard1380 scale length is the average length for all saddles, like Fender is 25.5” vs Gibson at 24.75. Fixing intonation is great and done with a tuner. I can’t imagine trying to do it by measuring length. I’m sure you’re doing it right but just explaining it wrong. Sorry for trolling.
Reminds me of 90s Batman
And then adjust intonation again
Would never trust a female to set up my guitars.
Check the scale length?? Have you noticed that they're always dead on the money?? SMH....
That's a beautiful guitar.
is her name mall?
Intonation happens last. You also remove the nut and sand it from the bottom evenly, using shims to raise it if need be. never ever file an individual groove on a nut from the top! I never saw you check the truss rod either. Jus say'n
Actually, no you dont. You file each slot individually. If your G string is high and the rest are good, are you gonna sand the bottom of the nut and reinstall it just to find that the g is now correct and the other 5 strings are laying on the deck? Trust me, I spent over 2 decades at Gibson and Fender cust. shop,, then as a touring gtr tech.
@chrisgaines3072 Yeah, I am a 61 yr old retired touring and studio guitar tech. Active from 1981 to 2009. I won't drop names. If the truss rod is proper, and the frets are all proper, there should be no reason one string is off. The only other adjustment is the nut and the bridge. I read an article from a guitar luthier "Rex Bogue" where he shows and talks about a guitar nut. The different kinds, bone, graphite, plastic, locking, and how to adjust and care for them. No offense to you intended. I would like to share the story with you cause he explained it much better than I could. Best wishes, peace✌️
Start with intonation? That's the last part of the set up process.
One of my biggest heroes from the seriously good guitarist crowd.
That pickguard is killer
Very cool 👍
She’s a keeper
Really like cool girls 😮😮😮😮
How did you get the Prince alternate universe guitar?
My thoughts exactly. Thats a Prince guitar.
I need your help!
That's cool. Now all you have to do is replace that hideous pickguard
Ive had an eastwood for a while now. Had problems the moment i got it. They wanted nothing to do with helping me. I brought it to many luthiers, including Treys tech Justin (yes from Phish), and they all told me i was sent a defective product. EW doesnt care, they dragged me for years until admitting they cannot replace the broken bridge they sent me. DO NOT buy anything from this comany.
I could see Johnny Marr with one of these
I thought intonation should be done last
Double check it at least as the final box to tick
Because intonation changes tension, it can be argued that you want it as close as you can before you judge the playability of the actions and the angle you want your neck to be but it all needs to match up so it'll need checked twice anyways.
Intonation is always supposed to be adjusted last
@@Mrmustard1380 correct
Oh this would look cool in the metallic green you all have on other guitars
@@robertmcdowell6936 ooh cool!
That is a gorgeous looking guitar indeed.
That Gold Sparkle is *gorgeous*
@@marcop1587 agreed!!
Wish yall were selling this last year when i dropped over a grand on a univox phase 1 custom. You even fixed the only gripe i have about its design is the rocking switches right where your playing hand is. Looks like you changed them to more sturdy slider switches and moved the switches higher and out of the way. Good job. I might just put the real univox in retirement so it dont get hurt and buy this new one that wouldnt be as painful to my money if something were to happen to it

To be honest, that guitar looks like the one from Cyberpunk, the one Kerry had on his yacht! That's pretty sick! 🤘

Get off the Amp! Lol
@@megabandit1200s WHERE ELSE AM I GONNA GO HALP
With a guitar like that you gotta play the Prince solo from while my guitar gently weeps
One of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen!
Fanny is the best~!
I’d mod this to send the bottom 3 strings out to a bass amp and the top 3 to a guitar amp. Then when people ask why I play in the band, I’d just say “yes”
@@the1trueporkchop 1) lololol 2) that sounds RIGHTEOUS

We've never received a job application from Ellen DeGeneres, go figure 🤷♀However, this is our Ellen Degenerate!

It reminds me of several guitars all at once. I like it ✌️❤️
